MOD Pizza is a United States-based chain of casual dining pizza restaurants that currently has more than 70 company-owned locations in the United States. Founded in Seattle, Washington in 2008, MOD Pizza is part of a growing trend of “DIY” pizza restaurants where customers prepare their own pizzas by specifying specific ingredients. The acronym “MOD” in the company’s named stands for “Made on Demand.”

The decor and layout of MOD restaurants has been described as family-friendly, and the interior of each MOD restaurant is unique and “locally inspired” with custom millwork.
